Richard brings over 35 years of progressive experience leading change to future-proof the residential construction sector to AECO. He is known as a transformative leader with a demonstrated track record of success through high-level Board and Strategy work.

RESCON and Richard have been advocating for supporting research and reports on the modernization and digitization of the development and building approvals process. He is regularly called upon by media and all levels of government to provide advice on policy issues and was most recently appointed to the Construction Advisory Panel by the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development. 

Richard’s leadership has earned him many accolades including the Canadian Lifetime Achievement Award (2019) by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and through his philanthropic work, the Bronze Ambassador for the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
