The list rewards and celebrates the great young leaders who are moving the construction industry forward with innovation and drive.
This past year has demonstrated that the ability to innovate and adapt to changing and often challenging circumstances is a hallmark of those who lead in this field. Technology has proven itself to be a key driver in these changing times, and this award aims to recognize the ingenuity of those seeking out new ways to work and boost efficiency.
Arash was recognized as a visionary who has contributed to many entrepreneurial ventures and research publications in the past, as well as recent initiatives at AECO Innovation Lab. These include One Ontario – a collaborative R&D project to streamline the development approval process – as well as the My Building Code app, which delivers a digital version of Ontario Building Code.
“I'm honoured and humbled to be recognized as part of this inspirational group,” says Arash Shahi. “I’m thankful for my fellow co-founders, Farzad Boreyri and Mazen Chediak, the rest of our talented team at AECO Innovation Lab, and our insightful and brilliant members of our Boards of Advisors and Experts who have guided – and continue to guide – our journey.”
