Chief Building Official
Greg Miller has been a leader the past two decades working in municipal building regulation and enforcement including as the Chief Building Official for the Town of Collingwood overseeing the day to day operations of the Town's Ontario Building Code Program and By-law Enforcement. He has successfully implemented e-permit services in Collingwood and The Blue Mountains where building permits are submitted, reviewed and issued electronically.

He is also a dedicated volunteer, acting as Vice-President of the Institute of Engineering Technology of Ontario, and now Past President of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists. As President of OACETT, Greg led the 25,000-member association’s efforts to modernize the sector, which includes increasing female representation and diversity. In 2017, Greg was a delegate on Premier’s Ontario Business Mission to China and Vietnam in the Science and Technology category travelling throughout both countries presenting to business leaders, research and technology companies. Greg also participated in the Elliot Lake Commission, which resulted in safety, emergency response and training recommendations in the sector. A 2018 Ontario Premier's Award nominee in the Technology category nominated by Georgian College Greg also holds a Master’s Certificate in Municipal Leadership from the Schulich Executive Education Centre and a Building Science Certificate from the University of Toronto Professional Development Centre.
