Aubrey Le Blanc brings more than 25 years of leadership experience to AECO’s Board of Advisors. He has extensive board and association experience within the public, private and not-for-profit sectors with a special emphasis in creating sustainable partnerships. He is known most notably as the Chief Administrative Officer at the Ontario Building Officials Association and is the former Chief Executive Officer and Registrar of Tarion.

Aubrey brings extensive national and international expertise to AECO through his demonstrated leadership and involvement in setting standards both broadly and within the development sector. He has an important voice in this space ensuring standards create a safe, effective and equitable market. His network and vast array of experiences adds tremendous value in setting AECO’s strategy.

Mr. Le Blanc’s leadership spans across the globe and he is highly sought after for his expertise. He has been the advisor to governments across several continents from West Germany to Japan to South Africa to name a few. His leadership extends beyond the boardroom and Mr. Le Blanc has contributed to his community through strategic board work at Western University’s Alumni Association, Vice-Chair of DanceWorks and Chair of the Board at the Hearing Foundation of Canada. Aubrey also takes a mentorship approach to younger industry leaders and loves to scuba dive in his spare time.
