Roger Belair is a health, safety and risk management professional with 30 years of progressive experience globally. From Canada to Australia and Iceland to India, Roger has championed substantial projects with some of the largest industry leaders in mining, oil & gas and project management. He is motivated by the automation of the H&S (Health & Safety) function that drives continuous improvement and leads to saving lives.

Belair brings a unique and diverse background to AECO with extensive experience in different phases of natural resources (engineering, execution, commissioning, start-up and operations). His professional focus has always surrounded occupational health and safety enabling him with the ability to evolve with the times and apply lessons learned to future work. In addition to his Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and Certified Engineering Technologies (CET) designations, Roger contributes an abundance of knowledge in best practices, safe operating procedures and hazard control. His comprehensive outlook makes him an asset to the AECO Board of Experts.
