Mazen Chediak brings over 18 years of expertise through his vast international leadership roles in the finance sector. Starting off as an auditor, Mazen expanded his expertise to the areas of corporate finance, budgeting and forecasting, financial and operational restructuring, international tax laws, investments, board and corporate governance. He has a special skill set in reconstructing multi-jurisdictional sole entity businesses, to corporations and ERP system implementation.
Mazen is distinctly known for his keen eye for investments. He led an over $2.5B portfolio investing in areas such as infrastructure, agriculture, water and power stations as well as retail franchises, restaurants and hospitality companies. In addition to his knowledge in aligning financing with business metrics, he also brings a depth of experience in equity and debt financing to support the overall strategic direction of AECO. Mazen’s expertise is invaluable in the identification of new start up investments and secure financing for these innovative companies to future-proof the industry.
Mazen tries to keep a work-life balance and enjoys spending his spare time with his family. He is a loving husband and has three young boys. He tries to keep up with his boys and enjoys playing soccer with them. Skiing and cycling across Canada's beautiful mountains and parks are among the activities that they enjoy most.
